When I created this station of many I own, I was going through an emotional and public divorce. This was an outlet for me to channel my positive energy into, because so many have asked me about why no radio outlets in Texas play all the classics we grew up on in the 60’s-90’s era of Urban music. Too much talking, no jamming. Everybody just streams music, and some songs you can’t find at all online to stream. Well, this got me really thinking when it came to programming the format of this station. I wanted it to be strictly Old School hits you don’t hear anymore, but always still remember when they came on. The kind of music when times were easier in life, and music took you to another place of peace, love, joy, and nostalgia. When you had your first kiss, when you first grew up enough to go out. The first time making love, even celebrations with family on the weekends, house parties, backyard gatherings, family reunions, etc. Then I thought, music soothes the kid in all of us. One song reminds you of that childhood crush. So this is why I created this station for the kid in all of us grown folks, to take us back to simpler times, no bills, no kids, no stress, grade school days, and college days, all before this new era of music. As a bonus, for certain genres, I created separate stations of that particular type of music 24/7 for your listening pleasure, featuring different shows that are your favorite jams. So please enjoy and turn up the volume to the #1 station for the truly Old School hits and hard-to-find classics. Thanks for your input.
